\u200eThe Premier Soccer League (PSL) has handed down stiff sanctions to Yadah FC and the club\u2019s executive member Spencer Muvadi following an incident that occurred after their league match against Ngezi Platinum Stars on August 22 at Heart Stadium.

\u200eMuvadi was found guilty of assaulting Yadah goalkeeper Godknows Gurure and in the process breaching PSL Rules and Regulations.
\u200e
\u200eThe disciplinary committee fined him US$4,000, plus hearing costs, and banned him for one year from conducting football business with Yadah or any other PSL club.
\u200e
\u200e He is also prohibited from holding any official position or attending matches under PSL jurisdiction during the same period.
\u200e
\u200e\u201cThese sanctions are effective immediately,\u201d the PSL said in its ruling.
\u200e
\u200eYadah FC were also punished for contravening league regulations. The club was fined US$5,000 plus hearing costs, which must be paid within 15 days from the date of judgment.

\u200eIn a statement, PSL stressed that the league remain committed to safeguarding the integrity of the game.
\u200e
\u200e\u201cThe Premier Soccer League reiterates its commitment to upholding discipline, protecting the integrity of the game and promoting a safe and professional environment for all participants,\u201d PSL said.
\u200e
\u200eThe ruling sends a strong message to clubs and officials that misconduct will not be tolerated, as the league seeks to foster professionalism and safeguard the spirit of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
