MUREHWA \u2013 A principal at a private school in Murehwa has been arrested following serious allegations of indecently assaulting four of his male students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hamilton Manyika, who is also a member of the Salvation Army church, was arrested at Juru Growth Point after the alleged abuses, which are said to have occurred in his office on different days, were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The matter came to light after one of the students disclosed the abuse during a counselling session, prompting immediate action from authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the arrest, which has sent shockwaves through the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expressing outrage and betrayal, one of the guardians of the victims stated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis man betrayed our trust and abused the children he is supposed to protect and educate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case highlights ongoing concerns about the safety of students in educational institutions and the breach of trust by those in positions of authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
