Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced the addition of a new early morning flight on its Johannesburg-Harare route, set to commence on September 29, 2025. The new service will operate daily except Saturdays, departing OR Tambo International Airport at 06:55 and arriving in Harare at 08:40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The airline stated that the additional frequency responds to growing demand from business travelers requiring same-day early arrival options in the Zimbabwean capital. The flight will be operated using Fastjet’s Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Company representatives speaking at the Sanganai Hlanganani Tourism Expo emphasized the route’s importance for regional connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This new service supports business connectivity and enhances regional trade between Zimbabwe and South Africa,” a company official stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Return flights from Harare will depart at 19:00, maintaining the same daily schedule excluding Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fastjet Zimbabwe, which began operations in 2015, has established itself as a multi-award-winning carrier with an extensive regional network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The airline connects three major Zimbabwean cities domestically and offers international flights to Johannesburg from Harare, Bulawayo, and Victoria Falls, as well as services to Mbombela and Lusaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The airline’s commitment to safety and operational excellence was recently recognized through its achievement of the International Air Transport Association’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
