BULAWAYO, Afro-pop sensation Mzoe 7 is poised to deliver a powerful and intimate artistic statement this October with the highly-anticipated revival of his one-man show, \u201cI Am Who I Am.\u201d
The performance, confirmed for Friday, 11 October 2025, will grace the stage of the Bulawayo Theatre. It forms a key part of the esteemed \u201c50 Dates at the Theatre\u201d series, curated by renowned arts veteran Saimon \u201cMambazo\u201d Phiri.
This announcement marks a significant step in the versatile musician’s ambitious year-long drive to expand his brand beyond Zimbabwean borders and solidify his status as one of the nation’s most dynamic youthful talents.
After the show’s successful debut in 2023, fans were left eager for more following its initial hiatus. Seven months after first hinting at its return, Mzoe 7 is now ready to bring it back with renewed vigour and confidence.
Speaking at a recent media event to unveil the official show merchandise, Mzoe 7 shared his vision for the evening. He emphasized a desire to connect with his audience on a deeper level than traditional performances allow.
\u201cI\u2019ve done a lot of bar and open events before, but I decided to create a different setting where people can come, sit down and experience my art in full,\u201d he explained.
\u201cThis show is about stripping everything back to the essence of the music and the performance. It\u2019s a raw and personal journey.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The artist also teased an ambitious marketing campaign already in motion, stating,
\u201cWe have started the marketing rollout and I tell you it\u2019s on another level.\u201d
The launch of branded merchandise suggests a comprehensive strategy to build anticipation for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cI Am Who I Am\u201d show promises to offer attendees a unique glimpse into the heart of Mzoe 7\u2019s creativity, featuring a curated setlist of his hits, acoustic arrangements, and personal storytelling in the elegant, focused environment of the Bulawayo Theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
