After paying with a R10 note, the conductor reacted rudely and aggressively, demanding R15, a fare that was unreasonable and communicated disrespectfully.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eAt one point, he even instructed passengers to disembark, causing confusion and frustration. Four passengers were affected, including three women and one man.<br>\u200e<br>\u200e\u201cThis is the third time they have treated us this way,\u201d said a commuter, highlighting the personal toll of the ongoing transport challenges.<br>\u200e<br>\u200e \u201cThey didn\u2019t treat us well. They should have informed us politely, not act rough,&#8221; she said.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eThe conductor involved operates the Tshova Mubaiwa kombi with number plate AGL 4323 and is a familiar figure in the area, suggesting that such behavior is recurring.<br>\u200e<br>\u200e \u201cI know the driver; this happens mostly during his trips,\u201d said the commuter.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eCommuters have expressed frustration over repeated fare disputes and the lack of professional conduct from some transport operators.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eFare inconsistencies remain widespread, with commuters frequently paying above normal rates. Safety concerns are also a major issue, with reports of drivers operating under the influence of alcohol.<br>\u200e<br>\u200eUnlike in the past, when operators were identifiable through uniforms and fleet numbers, many now conceal their vehicle plates, making accountability more difficult.
