BULAWAYO \u2013 ZANU-PF has launched a stern rebuke of popular musician Holy Ten after the artist made disparaging comments about President Mnangagwa’s twin sons, Sean and Collins, and publicly rejected a luxury vehicle offered by businessman Wicknell Chivayo, in a move that has exposed growing tensions between the ruling party and Zimbabwe’s youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The debacle began when Holy Ten made critical remarks about the president’s sons during a social media exchange, before subsequently declining a generous gift from Chivayo, a known party benefactor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ZANU-PF official Cde Chiherenge addressed the situation during a public gathering, stating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We do not support anyone who disrespects the highest office. The First Family deserves respect, and we cannot tolerate such insolence from anyone, regardless of their popularity.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Holy Ten had explicitly rejected the luxury vehicle, declaring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I cannot be bought by a car and a lump sum of money. That would be insulting.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
