The cellular mobile phone, cellphone, has eased the communications channels in many aspects of life but has brought untold misery in relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Mutoko, a woman forgot her cellphone at home and it rang in her absence and was answered by her husband. When the women returned all hell broke loose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zimbabwe Republic Police in Mutoko alleges that on January’s 16 in the evening the victim went to the local business centre, leaving her husband behind, forgetting her phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police report continues to state that someone called her and the husband is alleged to have answered and heard a male on the other side of the call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When she came back from the business center there was a heated debated over the call with the husband ordering her to call back the male person who had called in her absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thereafter the man physically abused the victim for four days beating her incessantly with an electrical cord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As if the beating was not enough, the man shoved a hoe handle into her womanhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She managed to flee to her parents’ home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The matter was reported to the Police in the small town of Mutoko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A manhunt has been launched for the 28-year-old man who is being accused for indecent assault and Grievous Bodily Harm, (GBH), as well as domestic violence charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In confirming the incident, Mashonaland East Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Simon Chazovachii urged the public to desist from using violence to settle disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe suspect is still at large and we are appealing to anyone who might have information that may lead to his arrest to alert the nearest police station,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
