A Cain and Abel scenario has unfolded again, this time in Bulawayo\u2019s Sizinda neighborhood, in the western outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two brothers, Artwell Ndlovu (32) and Abbie Ndlovu (40), both male and residing at the same address, were involved in a heated altercation that took a deadly turn, Abbie was found murdered at the hands of his sibling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Artwell Ndlovu\u2019s arrest has been confirmed by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) after a strenuous effort to apprehend him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The father of the two brothers narrates a harrowing find when he returned home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“On the 29th of May 2025, at around 1700 hours, I left home without any issues. I returned the following day, the 30th of May 2025, at around 0700 hours in the morning and found Abbie lying lifeless in the dining room in a pool of blood, with intestines protruding from his stomach, multiple stab wounds all over his body, and a broken arm,” stated Ndlovu Senior, the father of both the accused and the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overwhelmed by the gruesome scene, the father alerted neighbors, and with the community\u2019s assistance, authorities were informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By the time the police arrived, the accused had already disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigations pointed to his possible refuge at another brother\u2019s house in Pumula South, Bulawayo. A swift response team\u2014including CID Homicide, CID Forensic, Canine Unit, and ZRP Tshabalala officers\u2014proceeded to Pumula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though the accused was not immediately found, blood-soaked clothes were discovered outside the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We spotted the accused from a distance, but he fled, leading to a chase where he leaped over durawalls. He was eventually apprehended by a police dog just a few meters away from his brother\u2019s house,” explained Inspector Nomalanga Musebele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Artwell Ndlovu was then arrested and taken into custody. At his arrest he did not explain what led to him allegedly murder his brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He awaits trail at the Magistrates Courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities have urged members of the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and instead seek amicable ways to resolve disputes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
