HARARE \u2014 Global food giant Nestl\u00e9 has injected US$7 million into expanding its Harare cereal manufacturing plant, reinforcing Zimbabwe\u2019s position as a key breakfast supplier for Eastern and Southern Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment includes installing a fourth roller dryer at the facility producing Nestl\u00e9\u2019s fortified cereal brand CEREVITA. The upgrade aims to increase output by over 35%, accelerating exports to Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique while meeting growing domestic demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicole Roos, Nestl\u00e9\u2019s Managing Director for East and Southern Africa, linked the move to the company\u2019s “Africa for Africa” strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
