Ziyapenduka Village, Chipinge – A 68-year-old man was brutally murdered in a suspected familial dispute over fighting dogs in Ziyapenduka Village, Chipinge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victim, Rallion Chiambiro Nduna, was discovered in his banana field with severe head injuries and a severed left palm, police confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities have launched a manhunt for the prime suspect, 48-year-old Amos Nduna, the victim\u2019s brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two reportedly clashed earlier following a violent altercation between their dogs. Amos allegedly accused Rallion of failing to control his pets, which he claimed attacked his wife and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chipinge District Police Spokesperson Inspector Tendai Moyo stated that Amos issued direct threats against Rallion after the initial confrontation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe victim was found dead hours later. We urge the public to share any information on Amos\u2019s whereabouts,\u201d Moyo said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While Amos remains at large, the case has rattled the close-knit community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is a tragedy. Families must resolve conflicts peacefully,\u201d lamented a village elder, who requested anonymity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigations are ongoing, with forensic teams combing the scene for evidence. Police warn against vigilante action and reiterate calls for calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
