The German coach was leaving the venue after witnessing the thrilling Chibuku Super Cup final, where Dynamos Football Club made history by becoming the first team to win the cup two consecutive times, triumphing over Ngezi Platinum in a tense penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Nees approached his car, an unidentified man approached him under the pretense of greeting. The man then attempted to snatch the coach\u2019s phone but failed in his effort. This incident, while minor, has highlighted the ongoing issues of petty crime in the area, particularly in Mbare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the story was reported by Soccer24 on X (formerly Twitter), Zimbabweans took to the comments section, sharing a mix of humor, concern, and references to Killer T\u2019s song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
