On October 2, 47-year-old Getrude Kunyepi sought the healer’s help for a personal health issue. Makina reportedly assured her that he could resolve her problem and charged her $150 for his services, which Kunyepi paid in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought I was going to die,\u201d Kunyepi recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fortunately, she managed to escape the inferno and survived the harrowing incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Immediately after her narrow escape, Kunyepi reported the attack to local authorities, prompting a rapid response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI couldn\u2019t believe someone I went to for help would try to kill me,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
