Harare resident Pamhidzai Tapfumaneyi, 53, claims she’s experiencing terrifying supernatural events, including auditory harassment, unseen sexual assaults, and snake attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“These disturbances started after I visited an apostolic church in 2019, following the tragic loss of four of my children,” Tapfumaneyi recounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I sought comfort, but instead, I was drawn into satanism.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her husband, a truck driver, had passed away in 2015. The church community initially provided solace, but soon turned sinister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“A voice whispers explicit and threatening things, saying<\/p>\n\n\n\n
‘I want to have sex with you’ or ‘have sex with your son’,” Tapfumaneyi describes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“It happens whenever I’m alone and even in public.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She claims to experience physical violations in her dreams and public places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I feel my genitals being licked by something invisible\u2026 I see a huge snake coiling around my waist.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tapfumaneyi denies any mental illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I refuse hospital checks because I don’t have an illness,” she asserts, convinced her experiences are supernatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neighbours describe her as mentally stable and interactive. The accused church member’s phone went unanswered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
