President Emerson Mnangagwa is in Bulawayo to Officiate at the current Mine Entra Expo at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President arrived yesterday after officiating at the burial of the late National Hero Tshinga Dube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was met at the Joshua Mqabuko Nyongolo Nkomo Airport by Vice President Constantino GN Chiwenga with other senior government dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s edition of Mine Entra has 19 international exhibitors that have signed up, representing four foreign nations, namely China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, India and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a Press statement, ZITF Company chief executive officer Nicholas Ndebele said their teams and service providers were making final preparations to ensure a seamless experience for exhibitors, buyers and delegates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe expect our out-of-town exhibitors to start arriving this weekend [past weekend] and we are ready to receive them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOver the coming few days, attendees will engage in high-impact programming that highlights how innovation and collaboration can unlock success across the mining value chains,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ndebele said this year\u2019s edition will focus on maximising the contribution of the mining industry through local content and that various policy makers and industry leaders would address these issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year’s Mine Entra is running under the theme, Unearthing Success: The Mining Value Chains, Innovation and Industrialisation Nexus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
