Just like the ‘Abhero Mhoro’ song which was inspired by a pornographic intonation, another song has emerged this time driven on a full ponorgraphic video posted on a family WhatsApp group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video of a ‘sekuru’ shouting at Tinashe to remove the video with sexual scenes, is trending on several social media platforms. In the video trending on Twitter and WhatsApp this past Wednesday a voice of an elderly male person saved as Sekuru Christopher is heard shouting,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tinashe, Tinashe iwe Tinashe waitei, bvisa zvawaisa izvo”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The voice note of Sekuru Christopher is then followed by another lady who in the video hardly finishes what she is typing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “mum” is seen typing but the message is not shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incident comes at a time when President Mnangagwa has just signed into law the Cyber Security and Data Protection Bill which criminalizes pornography and child porn amongst other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bill describes pornography as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPornography\u201d includes any representation, through publication, exhibition,
cinematography, electronic means or any other means whatsoever, of
a person engaged in real or simulated explicit sexual activity, or any
representation of the sexual parts of a person for primarily sexual
purposes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bill criminalizes pornography and has put a punishment of 5-10 years of jail sentence for such a crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “Tinashe, Tinashe” video has been trending on Twitter and many have made memes and short video songs about the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Videos such as that of @Long John the Comedian, and one amapiano song tweeted by @Wasu Wakafunda have been trending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the bill has been approved and put into law, what then happens to Tinashe who posted a porn video in a WhatsApp group and the person that recorded the whole video and uploaded it on Twitter?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will they both get the 5-10 year jail term for this post?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wait and see how the law and enforcement agents will deal with these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
