“At least the world has witnessed all the drama. I know people will still attack me, but what have I done to deserve this embarrassment?” Daisy said in an interview with The Herald Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daisy denied responsibility for Selmor’s abrupt exit, stating,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We did our best to accommodate the entire team, but this drama was beyond my control.” She expressed gratitude to supporters, emphasizing that the festival celebrated Tuku’s legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Virginia Mukwesha, daughter of Mbuya Stella Chiweshe, echoed Daisy’s sentiments, criticizing Selmor’s conduct as “disrespectful” and “unacceptable.” Mukwesha noted that Selmor’s actions overshadowed the event’s purpose: honoring Tuku’s legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the drama, the festival’s closing day featured standout performances by Mokoomba, Aaron Myers, Jay Watta, Tendai Mavengeni, Tamy Moyo, Gemma Griffiths, Bryan K, Hope Masike, and Jah Prayzah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jah Prayzah’s vintage performance earned praise from Daisy, who appreciated his loyalty and humility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
