Today Zim GBC News speaks to the Poetic Queen Chidadiso Francisca Mbazo aka Chichie<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chichie ~The Poetic Queen is a 20-year-old young lady from Bulawayo. She is an arts journalist, professional model, spoken word artist, podcaster, Events host, and public speaker. She is also a feminist, disability rights activist, and SRHR defender as well as a peer educator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, she’s the Media and Communications Officer at Youth for Innovation Trust, Head writer at Ibrah Magazine, a media reporter at the Bulawayo Arts News Online, a participant in the Amplifying Girls Voices Through Digital Arts project, a peer educator and representative for youths with disabilities in the YPNSRHHA under the National Aids Council and a model signed under Fervid Model Management. Chichie is also a first-year sociology student at Lupane State University as well as the reigning Royal Miss Vithikazi Queen 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one is a bit tough. when l was four, I went with my mum to church and there were some kids on stage singing and reciting verses and I told her that I was going to do that one day.

It’s Alicia Keys, I fell in love with her song ‘Girl on Fire’. I felt like it affirmed the kinda woman I wanted to be then. It’s still one of my favorites to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was eleven and I was telling my mum how unfair it was that my younger brothers didn’t do the dishes. That’s where activism started (Kkkk)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
