A 32 year old man from Nketa 7 suburb in Bulawayo is in custody on allegations of stealing copper cables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The state charges that on the 15th of March 2023 Tyson Ncube was spotted in a bushy area near Greengables Farm Umguza, dropping two suspects who rolled copper cables and hid them in a swampy area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A tip off led to the arrest of Tyson Ncube who was caught driving away while his accomplices are on the run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The facts of the matter are that Ncube and the other two who are on the run, stole a black electricity breaker, two cooling fans, 4 by 50 meters of Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) underground copper cables and hid them in the swamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the evidence that is being produced as exhibit for the crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trial date has not been set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Zimbabwe Republic Police urges members of the public to report anyone dealing with illegal copper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the remaining two suspects persons can report to Police Station near them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
