\u200eIn a message to residents, Cllr Moyo thanked the community for its continued support, unity and prayers, saying these have been instrumental in navigating both difficult and successful moments over the past year. He emphasized that the strength of Ward 22 lies in its people and their ability to collectively shape their own development path.

\u200e\u201cAs we enter 2026, we are declaring this a year of local solutions for local problems by local people. The residents of Ward 22 must be at the center of change, identifying challenges and crafting solutions that speak directly to their lived realities,” said Cllr Moyo.

\u200eThe councillor outlined a leadership approach rooted in collaboration, coalitions and partnerships, stressing that sustainable development cannot be achieved through division.

\u200e He said his focus would be on working with all stakeholders who share a genuine desire to see Nkulumane regain its pride and move forward.

\u200eA key milestone in this renewed engagement is the official opening of the Ward 22 Councillor\u2019s Office, which began operating on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Nketa 6 Housing Office, Room 7.

\u200e The office is expected to serve as a central point for community engagement, consultations and service delivery, bringing leadership closer to the people.
\u200e\u201cThis office belongs to the residents. It is a space for dialogue, listening and collective problem-solving,” said Cllr Moyo.

\u200eHe also called on residents to continue praying for the ward, the constituency and the nation, as Ward 22 embarks on a new phase of people-driven development.

\u200eWith the opening of the councillor\u2019s offices and the declaration of 2026 as a year of home-grown solutions, Ward 22 enters a new chapter defined by unity, participation and accountability.

\u200eAs residents take a more active role in shaping decisions that affect their daily lives, the resumption of the people\u2019s mandate signals renewed hope for inclusive development and a stronger, more responsive local governance structure in Nkulumane.
