\u200eZimbabwean Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Scottland FC have appointed former Warriors captain and football legend Peter Ndlovu as their new team manager ahead of the 2026 season.

\u200eNdlovu was officially unveiled, signing a two-year contract with the Harare-based club. He joins the reigning champions after previously serving in a similar role at South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns, bringing vast experience both on and off the pitch.

\u200eIn his new position, Ndlovu will work closely with newly appointed head coach Norman Mapeza, overseeing team operations, player welfare, and overall football structures as Scottland FC prepares to defend their league title and compete on multiple fronts.

\u200eThe appointment comes at a time of renewed financial backing for the club. Prominent businessman Wicknell Chivayo, through his company IMC Communications, has injected US$300,000 into Scottland FC to support preparations for the 2026 campaign.

\u200eScottland FC is owned by businessman and legislator Pedzai \u201cScott\u201d Sakupwanya and made history in 2025 by winning the Castle Lager PSL title in their maiden top-flight season, an achievement that firmly established the club among Zimbabwean football\u2019s elite.

\u200eA decorated former player, Ndlovu remains one of Zimbabwe\u2019s most celebrated football figures. He enjoyed a stellar playing career in England and became the first African footballer to play in the English Premier League.
\u200e
\u200eAt international level, he earned 100 caps for Zimbabwe, scoring 37 goals, and captained the Warriors to their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2004.
\u200eScottland FC\u2019s 2026 season will kick off with the Castle Challenge Cup against Dynamos in February, before the PSL campaign begins in March.

\u200eTheir opening league fixtures include away matches against Hardrock FC and Manica Diamonds, as well as a home clash with Ngezi Platinum Stars.

\u200eWith a legendary figure in Peter Ndlovu now part of the technical leadership and significant financial backing secured, Scottland FC will be aiming not only to retain their domestic crown but also to strengthen their long-term football ambitions.
