{"id":11415,"date":"2025-12-24T16:10:39","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T16:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zimgbcnews.co.zw\/?p=11415"},"modified":"2025-12-24T16:10:41","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T16:10:41","slug":"man-nabbed-for-dagga-possession-appears-in-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/zimgbcnews.co.zw\/?p=11415","title":{"rendered":"Man Nabbed for Dagga Possession, Appears in Court"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br>Venus Charumbira<br>Courts and Crimes Reporter<br>www.zimgbcnews.co.zw<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BULAWAYO \u2013 A 21-year-old man, Beizel Mudimu appeared before the Tredgold Magistrates\u2019 Court facing charges of unlawful possession of dangerous drugs, after he was allegedly found in possession of dagga in the Central Business District (CBD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to court\u2019s case, Mudimu was apprehended on the 2nd of December 2025 at the corner of Leopold Takawira and Lobengula Street, where he was allegedly found with 5 grams of dagga without a valid licence or permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was escorted to station and handed over to Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Drugs and Narcotics for further management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beizel Mudimu was charged with a crime of unlawful possession of dangerous drugs as defined in Section 157 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23].
