The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has officially discharged Simbarashe Mandizvidza, a former Assistant Inspector following allegations of misconduct and unbecoming behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement, the ZRP announced that Mandizvidza was dismissed from the force on 3rd December 2025 duly constituted and appropriate administrative procedures were affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe misconduct reportedly occurred on the 13th and 14th of August 2025\u201d, said Commissioner Paul Nyathi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Zimbabwe Republic Pilice (ZRP) also reiterates that it does not tolerate criminal acts or misconduct by its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Commissioner-General of Police does not condone criminal acts and unruly conduct by police officers,\u201d said Police Spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The move is part of the police service\u2019s ongoing efforts to maintain discipline, accountability and professionalism within its ranks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
