Zimbabwe is embarking on a major technological transformation with its newly approved National AI Strategy (2026-2030).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This plan is a key part of the broader “Smart Zimbabwe 2030 Masterplan,” and its goal is to use artificial intelligence to boost the economy and improve services for its people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government’s vision is to use AI to build a more efficient and innovative nation. As President Emmerson Mnangagwa put it, this strategy is about \u201cpositioning Zimbabwe as a leader in technological advancement in Africa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
