The National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) is set to get a major overhaul, with independent auditors overseeing the adjudication process for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 24th edition of Zimbabwe’s premier arts awards is introducing new categories, including Fashion and Digital Media, to recognize emerging talent and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) has opened submissions for the awards, which will cover works produced between December 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is expected to be a glamorous and prestigious celebration of local talent, with Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution managing the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 2025, and will feature a range of performances and recognitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Submissions are open until November 30, 2025, and can be made at any NACZ office nationwide .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
